Shafiek Savahl

Shafiek Savahl is an experienced engineering leader in the digital sector, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Digital at Cbus Super Fund since October 2024. Prior to this role, Shafiek held various leadership positions at MLC Life Insurance, including Head of Digital Platforms and Head of Delivery and Technology, and also served as Head of Engineering, Digital Enablement at ME Bank. With a strong background in software development and solution architecture, Shafiek has expertise in Amazon Web Services, microservice architecture, and agile methodologies, having worked in multiple organizations such as Australia Post and Toll Group during a career that began in 2002. Shafiek holds an Honors degree in Computer Systems Engineering from RMIT University.
