David Pollitt

David P. is an accomplished geoscientist with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Geoscience at C&C Reservoirs since August 2019, David P. drives performance across various business aspects, focusing on strategic direction and value creation. Prior to this role, David P. held multiple positions at Chevron from December 2007 to August 2019, including Exploration Advisor for Europe, Eurasia, and the Middle East, where responsibilities included functional leadership and portfolio management. Additional roles at Chevron involved leading technical teams and contributing to significant exploration projects. David P. began their career with internships at Shell and KPO. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Sedimentology from Cardiff University and an ongoing MSc in Energy Transition Systems and Technologies from the University of Aberdeen, along with an MBA and a BSc in Exploration & Resource Geology.
