Sam Scharf

Sam joined C&C in September 2021. He oversees C&C’s sheltered housing and general needs schemes; ensuring excellent delivery of resident services, both through digital solutions and from scheme officers, repairs teams, and external contractors. Sam is also responsible for C&C’s Service Hub, which handles compliments, complaints and queries from the residents.

Sam previously worked for housing provider Orbit Group, most recently in the role of Director of Communities and Sustainability. He is a member of the board of advisors for the Centre for the New Midlands, and has focused on social investment in housing as part of a role for Big Society Capital.

Sam has held positions supporting government and large charities, and worked in the USA on election campaigns in 2008, including the Obama/Biden presidential campaign.
