Maylane Lapenda

Maylane Lapenda, PMP®, CPP, CIPP™, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Maylane started their career in 2009 as a Civil Engineering Scholar Intern at UFPE and later worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Prefeitura da Cidade Universitária. In 2010, they joined Grupo Camargo Corrêa as a Junior Engineer, responsible for cost control and budget planning. Maylane also worked as a Planning Engineer at Construtora Camargo Corrêa, focusing on project engineering and coordination.

In 2014, Maylane served as a Teaching Assistant at UC Irvine, where they assisted and mentored undergraduate students in electrical engineering. In 2016, they joined CCC Group, Inc. as a Construction Superintendent, overseeing construction projects. Maylane then progressed to the role of Procurement Manager, responsible for procurement operations and management. Currently, they hold the position of Procurement Director at CCC Group, Inc., leading the procurement department.

Throughout their career, Maylane has displayed expertise in civil engineering, project management, procurement, cost control, and teaching. Maylane has gained valuable experience in various aspects of engineering and construction, with a strong focus on planning, budgeting, and project coordination.

Maylane Lapenda, PMP®, CPP, CIPP™, holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, which they earned between 2007 and 2012. Maylane completed their secondary education at Colégio Preparatório Integrado from 1997 to 2007. In terms of certifications, Maylane obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2020. Maylane also holds the Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) certification from the International Institute for Procurement and Market Research and the Certified International Procurement Professional (CIPP) certification from the International Academy of Business and Financial Management, both obtained in 2020. Additionally, Maylane completed various education programs and obtained certifications in fields such as contract management, international business and operations management, and coatings inspection. Maylane has also earned a Verified International Academic Qualifications certificate from the World Education Services. In 2023, they are planning to complete the Women in Leadership Accelerator program offered by iEmpower_satx.
