Said al Balushi

Said Al Balushi, PhD is a Senior Geologist/Carbonate Expert at CCED since April 2019. Previously, Said held various roles at Petroleum Development Oman from October 2010 to April 2019, including Production Geologist/Carbonate Specialist and Exploration Geologist. With a PhD in Basin Analysis and Petroleum Geoscience, Said has extensive experience in regional geological studies, 3D static modelling, fracture characterization, drilling operations support, and field development. Said also has a strong background in carbonate geology consultancy and coaching, as well as serving as a technical leader for geological field trips in North Oman.
