If you are driven, innovative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to explore the opportunities available with us.     Job Description The Director of Compliance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of CCMR3’s compliance program. This role requires a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment governing third-party collections, including the audit requirements from federal and state regulators. The Director of Compliance will work closely with senior leadership, legal counsel, and operational teams to maintain and enhance our compliance framework. This position reports to the Vice President of Educational Development & Compliance.   Position Responsibilities: ·     Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs and policies in line with federal, state, and local regulations governing third-party collections.

·     Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws, regulatory updates, and industry trends to ensure compliance and establish best practices within the agency.

·     Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks, including those related to consumer protection, data security, and fair collection practices.

·     Develop and lead the quality assurance monitoring program to ensure adherence to compliance standards and identify areas for improvement, including leveraging speech analytics technology to analyze communication data, identifying patterns, compliance adherence, and areas for improvement. Utilize these insights to refine and optimize communication strategies.

·     Collaborate with legal counsel and regulatory bodies to address compliance issues and investigations. Oversee the development and maintenance of compliance-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and education materials.

·     Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and clients on compliance-related matters. Lead and manage the compliance and quality assurance team, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior. Report regularly to the executive management team on compliance activities, risks, and issues.

·     Implement and oversee internal testing procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and processes.

·     Manage third-party vendor risk, including onboarding and due diligence processes, in collaboration with IT and information security teams to ensure vendors meet compliance and security standards.

Required Qualifications: ·      Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, or a related field preferred.

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position within the collections or financial services industry preferred

·      In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, and audit frameworks from regulatory bodies.

·      Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

·      Proficiency with technology, including general business tools such as e-mail, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate, mentor, and influence employees at all levels.

·      Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
