Charisse S. Iglesias, PhD, currently serves as the Training and Resource Director at Community-Campus Partnerships for Health, developing and facilitating workshops on community engagement topics. Previously, Charisse worked at the University of Arizona in various roles, including Assistant Director of the Wildcat Writers Community Writing Program and Writing Composition Instructor, where Charisse directed a social justice writing program and created educational materials for undergraduate courses. Charisse has also held positions as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Visceral Change, Curriculum Developer at Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, and TEFL Teacher with the Peace Corps. Charisse holds a PhD and MA in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Arizona and a BA in Literature and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
