Mateus Gomes Ferreira

Mr. Ferreira holds a degree in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV-SP) and completed executive education courses in Leadership from Stanford University and the Dom Cabral Foundation. Since August 2020, he has been serving as an Executive Director at Votorantim S.A., an investment holding company with activities in the cement, mining and metals, energy, steel, agribusiness, real estate and financial services sectors. He has also been serving, since April 2022, as Chair of the Board of Directors of Auren, a leading renewable energy company listed in the Novo Mercado segment of B3 and jointly controlled by Votorantim and CCPIB, and as Chair of the Board of Directors of Altre, since November 2021, a company that manages Votorantim’s real estate assets. Mr. Ferreira is also a member of the investment committee of 23S Capital, an investment company born through a partnership between Votorantim and Temasek focused on creating sustainable and long-term value. Previously, from May 2021 to February 2022, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Votorantim Energia, a company that was incorporated by Auren Energia. Before joining Votorantim, he was Head of Infrastructure and Global Industries at Banco ltaú BBA, from February 2011 to June 2020.
