Sophie Walford

Sophie Walford has a diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Circuit Board Manufacturing Engineering Assistant at the University of Waterloo. Sophie then worked as a Signals & Train Engineering Assistant at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in 2015. In 2016, Sophie was a Student Project Engineer at Evertz. In 2017, they had a role as an R&D Engineering Co-op at TrueNorth, an SD Company. The following year, in 2018, Sophie worked as an Innovation Engineering Co-op at VIA Rail Canada. Sophie then joined CCX Technologies in 2019 as a Junior Systems Engineer and progressively moved up to become a System Engineer in 2021. Currently, Sophie holds the position of Systems Engineering Team Lead at CCX Technologies from April 2022.

Sophie Walford attended South Island Distance Education School from 2007 to 2012 for their primary education. Sophie then went on to Westmount Secondary School from 2012 to 2014 to complete their high school education. Following that, they attended the University of Waterloo from 2014 to 2019, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Co-op.
