Riccardo Borghi

Riccardo Borghi is an experienced transport and purchasing professional with a career spanning over four decades in logistics and transportation management. Currently serving as Transport & Purchasing Manager at CD Group since March 2020, Borghi previously held significant roles such as Country Overland Manager and Transport Consultant Senior at Panalpina from July 2018 to March 2020. Prior to that, an extensive tenure at DHL Global Forwarding lasted from April 2002 to March 2018, where responsibilities included national logistics management for transportation and handling. Borghi also contributed to TNT Logistics (now CEVA Logistics) from 1998 to 2002 as a Logistics Account Manager and at MIT SpA from 1990 to 1998 as the Head of Traction and Distribution. Early career experience includes managing a branch at Tomaso Borghi Spa, a family-owned transport company. Educationally, Borghi graduated from the Istituto Tecnico Elio Vittorini di Torino with a diploma in accounting.
