Elaine Ward-Bopp is the SVP of Finance at CDB Aviation. Elaine has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Elaine started their career at PwC as an assistant audit manager. Elaine then moved to Brandeaux Administrators Limited as a programme manager for finance and operations. In 2000, they moved to Australia to work as a contract accountant. In 2001, they returned to Ireland to work for BISYS Fund Services as a finance manager. BISYS was acquired by CITI in 2007 and Elaine became the head of statutory and financial accounting. In 2014, they became the financial controller at Santos Dumont. In 2016, they joined Goshawk as their financial controller. Elaine has been with CDB Aviation since 2018.

Elaine Ward-Bopp's educational career began with their attending secondary education at Scoil Mhuire in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Elaine then went on to study at University College Dublin where they attained their Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance. After working in the corporate finance sector for a number of years, Elaine decided to return to education and obtained their Master of Accounting from University College Dublin. Elaine is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant, having articled with PwC, and holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance from Chartered Accountants Ireland. In addition, Elaine has a Certified Project Management Professional qualification from the Project Management Institute and a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
