Meghan Roney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health and research. Currently serving as a Senior Liaison Officer at the CDC Foundation since December 2018, Meghan plays a pivotal role in the Health Impact in 5 Years Initiative. Prior to this, Meghan was a Research Associate I at KDH Research & Communication, Inc., where leadership was demonstrated in developing scientific support for the FDA's "The Real Cost" campaigns. Meghan also contributed to the field as a Research Area Specialist Intermediate at the University of Michigan Medical School, focusing on patient-doctor communication and treatment decisions. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Sustainability Specialist and Production Assistant at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and as a Public Health Liaison with the US Forest Service. Meghan holds a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
