Sean A.

Sean A. serves as a Senior Advancement Officer for Major Gifts at the CDC Foundation since March 2021. Previously, Sean held positions including Planned Giving Officer for the Central Region at the American Diabetes Association from April 2019 to May 2020, and Director of Development at Prevent Child Abuse America from September 2018 to April 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing all fundraising initiatives. Sean also spent 14 years at Rotary International as a Senior Major Gifts Officer, managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and contributing to significant fundraising campaigns. Earlier in career, Sean was an Account Manager at The Sherwood Group from 1999 to 2004. Sean holds a Baccalaureate of Arts in Urban Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and has studied at King’s College London and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
