Angela Dunn

Angela Dunn, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Board President of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists and the Executive Director of the Salt Lake County Health Department. Previous roles include State Epidemiologist at the Utah Department of Health and Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Angela Dunn has led investigations into infectious disease outbreaks, improved access to healthcare for Utahns, and directed statewide disease surveillance initiatives. With a strong academic background, including a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, Angela Dunn has taught public health courses, mentored epidemiologists, and worked on various health initiatives, including the Integrated Health Community Initiative in San Diego County.
