Brianna McGarry

Brianna McGarry is an undergraduate research assistant at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where research focuses on arthritis and is conducted in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s SNAP-Ed program and the South Carolina Department on Aging. Brianna is a member of the pre-professional fraternity Alpha Epsilon Delta at the University of South Carolina, as well as the Tau Sigma National Honor Society and previously a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Prior experience includes serving as a medical assistant at Avance Care, managing patient data, and providing support in a healthcare environment. Brianna possesses a diverse educational background in Exercise Science, having studied at the University of South Carolina, Florence University of the Arts, and the University of Pittsburgh, with a forthcoming Bachelor's degree expected in May 2024.
