Dr. Sharnell Myles is an accomplished clinical psychologist with extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health. Currently serving as a member of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Institutional Review Board, Dr. Myles is also the Chief Clinical Officer and Sr. Vice President of Operations at Embark Behavioral Health, where services focus on intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential therapy for youth and young adults. Previous roles include Executive Director at JoyUs Beginnings Child & Family Wellness Center, Military Family Life Consultant for the United States Department of Defense, and Clinical Director at youthSpark, where significant contributions were made to policy development and trauma-informed care practices. Dr. Myles holds a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and multiple advanced degrees in psychology from Argosy University and Norfolk State University, complemented by a policy reform certification from Georgetown University.
