Jim Jirjis

Jim Jirjis currently serves as the Division Director of Data Policy and Standards within the Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since September 2023. Additionally, Jim Jirjis has been a member of the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology since September 2019, where Jim Jirjis was appointed to advise on health IT policies by prominent leaders in Congress. Prior to these roles, Jim Jirjis worked as Chief Health Information Officer at HCA Healthcare from September 2013 to September 2023 and held various leadership positions, including Executive Director of the Center of Innovation and Integration and Assistant Chief Medical Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from August 2002 to September 2013. Jim Jirjis holds an MD from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and an MBA in Medicine from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management.
