Manisha (Mo) Patel, MD, MS, MBA, is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in public health and infectious diseases. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases since August 2010, Patel has also held leadership roles such as Associate Director for Strategy and Innovation and Team Lead for various viral diseases. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at The Children’s Hospital At Montefiore Medical Center and as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the CDC. Patel completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and holds a Master's in Clinical Research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as an Executive MBA from Emory University.
