Mina Zadeh (Badakhsh) has extensive experience in public health and program management, currently serving as the Director of the CDC Director's Scheduling and Advance at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since February 2010. Zadeh has held various critical roles including acting director, health scientist, and deputy director across multiple CDC responses, such as the East Palestine Train Derailment and the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes positions at the HHS Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and World Health Organization. Zadeh holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, respectively, a PhD from Western Michigan University, and a certification in Leadership in 21st Century from Harvard Kennedy School.
