Natasha Sanabria

Natasha Sanabria is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate Service Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on developing cyber-molecular assays for Hepatitis C virus detection using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. In addition, Natasha holds a position as an Extraordinary Lecturer at the University of Pretoria and has previously worked as a Research and Development Associate and Head of Department at NHLS, overseeing interdisciplinary projects and managing finances. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Johannesburg and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Rhodes University, along with other degrees in Biochemistry and Biology.
