Shalabh Sharma is a seasoned health scientist and bioinformatician with extensive experience in bioinformatics related to infectious diseases, particularly meningitis caused by Neisseria and Haemophilus species. Currently employed at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since August 2024, Shalabh has held prior positions at ASRT, Inc. and Weems Design Studio Inc., where responsibilities included supporting studies on antibiotic resistance and managing genomic and RNA sequence data. Shalabh's earlier roles at IHRC, Inc. and the University of Georgia further developed expertise in data analysis, customized pipeline development for next-generation sequencing datasets, and training for research personnel. Shalabh holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from MIET.
