Farhana Huq

Farhana Huq is a seasoned professional in hydrogeology and groundwater modeling, currently serving as the Leader of the Hydrogeology and Groundwater Modelling Expert Group at CDM Smith since May 2021. Huq has extensive experience in groundwater modeling, geochemical modeling, hydrogeological investigation, and remediation techniques. Previous roles include Project Manager at Fortiss, Research Scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology, and Consultant at Idea Business OG. Huq completed a PhD in CO2 capture and storage at the University of Tübingen, where research focused on geochemical changes due to CO2 injection, and holds an MSc in Applied Environmental Geoscience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
