Kenneth McClain

Kenneth McClain currently serves as Vice President at CDM Smith since June 2022, following an extensive career in public service and engineering. Previously, Kenneth was the Alternative Funding Program Director and District Executive at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) from September 2015 to June 2022, overseeing significant projects in the greater Philadelphia region. Prior roles include Pennsylvania Client Services Manager at URS Corporation, Area Manager at Borton-Lawson, and a 20-year military career culminating as First Sergeant in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Kenneth's professional journey at PennDOT began in May 1993, where various positions included Design Services Manager and Senior Project Manager. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation from Bucknell University, completed in 1994.
