Carl Olivieri

Carl Olivieri has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Transactions & Investments at CDPQ Infra since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate in Energy Infrastructure Private Equity at Power Sustainable in 2021. From 2014 to 2021, Carl held the position of Senior Associate in Infrastructure Private Equity at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), where they played a significant role in growing the infrastructure portfolio and was involved in various investment activities. Before transitioning into the financial industry, Carl worked as a Structural Engineer & Superintendent at KSH Solutions Inc. from 2010 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they served as an Infantry Officer in the Canadian Forces from 2005 to 2009, where they demonstrated leadership skills and underwent rigorous training. Carl also gained experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at Moffatt & Nichol in 2008.

Carl Olivieri has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management. Carl also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure from Concordia University. In addition, Carl has a DEC in Civil Engineering Technology from Dawson College. Carl has furthered their knowledge in finance by completing various certifications such as CSC, WME, and CPH from the Canadian Securities Institute between the years 2008 and 2010.
