Ralf Bockstedte

Ralf Bockstedte serves as Ratsherr and 1st Deputy Chairman of the Sports Committee and Chairman of the Inclusion Advisory Board for the city of Essen since 2020, alongside roles in various CDU organizations including being a member of the Sports Network. Bockstedte holds a directorial position for Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Accessibility at the European Long Drive Association and is a board member at the Golfclub Hösel. Other professional engagements include teaching sports law at IST-Hochschule für Management and SPORTBUSINESS CAMPUS GmbH, and running a law firm specializing in national and international sports law since 2018. Bockstedte has an extensive educational background in law, culminating in ongoing doctoral studies at Universität Greifswald, with previous qualifications from Universität Heidelberg and participation in sports training education at Sportschule Kaiserau.
