Eric Bonnet

Eric Bonnet's work experience includes being a Research Director at CEA since 2021, where they also served as a Team Leader for Computational Genomics at CNRGH since 2018. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Engineer in Computational Genomics at CNRGH from December 2015. Eric also worked as an Expert in Bioinformatics and Genomics at CEA from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, they became a Review College panel expert at Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). Previously, they worked as a Research Engineer at Institut Curie from 2010 to December 2015. Eric also worked as a Research Associate at VIB-UGent from 2001 to 2010. Before that, they worked as an IT Consultant at Victoria Consulting from 1998 to 2001 and as a Computer Technician at Intuiparc Assistance in 1997. Eric started their career as an Assistant Teacher at Université de Limoges in 1995.

Eric Bonnet has a diverse education history. Eric obtained their Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches (HDR) degree from Université Paris-Saclay in 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biology, General at Université de Limoges from 1994 to 1996. In 1992, they pursued DEA Sciences du Comportement et Neurosciences Cognitives from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III. Eric also holds a License et Maitrise de Biologie des Organismes degree from Université de Poitiers, which they completed between 1989 and 1992. In addition to their formal education, Eric has obtained various certifications related to accelerated computing, deep learning, and data science.
