Etienne Barraud

Etienne BARRAUD is an experienced researcher in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a researcher at CEA since January 2023, focusing on experimental studies of the β-γ transition of tin induced by laser shock. Prior to this role, Etienne completed a doctoral thesis at Institut Pprime, investigating the effects of additive manufacturing on shock responses from October 2019 to December 2022. Experience includes an internship at CEA, where validation of a master's research and professional program took place, as well as various research and technical internships focused on material resistance and methods in engineering. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from ISAE-ENSMA and multiple master's degrees from the University of South Brittany, complemented by a DUT in Mechanical Engineering from IUT de Poitiers.
