Julie Galland

Julie Galland serves as the Director of the Technological Research division at CEA since January 2023, overseeing 3,800 scientists across three research institutes focused on technological research and transfer. Concurrently, Julie holds the position of Chair at the GIANT Innovation Campus in Grenoble, which fosters collaboration among research, industry, and education to address significant technological and societal challenges. Prior to their current roles, Julie worked at the Direction Générale des Entreprises from September 2012 to December 2022 in various capacities, including Deputy Director for space, electronic, and software sectors, and led initiatives in health industries and semiconductors. Julie earned a PhD in Natural Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University and is a graduate of Mines Paris - PSL as an ingénieure générale.
