Zuzana Gerber is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in genomics and molecular biology. Currently serving as the Head of Development Lab at Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives since June 2019, Zuzana leads a team in evaluating and implementing novel genomic technologies at the French National Center of Human Genomics Research. Prior to this role, Zuzana held positions as a Research Engineer, Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London, Associate Tutor at University of East Anglia, and a PhD Candidate at University of Cambridge, contributing significantly to research in ancient DNA and forensic genetics. Zuzana also completed a Research Internship with the Police of the Czech Republic, focusing on optimizing forensic genetic analyses. Zuzana holds a PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, as well as MSc and BSc degrees in Anthropology, Human Genetics, and Biology from Charles University.
