Antonio Roldao

Antonio Roldao has extensive experience in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as the Head of the Vaccines Development Lab at iBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica since January 2014. Antonio holds the titles of Investigador FCT and Associate Researcher at the same institution. Previously, Antonio was a PhD and Director of fermentation infrastructure at Chalmers University of Technology from October 2010 to January 2014, contributing to the Systems and Synthetic Biology Lab. Antonio's career at iBET began with a post-doctoral position in the Animal Cell Technology Unit and includes earlier roles as a Junior Researcher at both iBET and Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa - FCT NOVA. Academically, Antonio completed a PhD in Engineering and Technology Sciences with a focus on systems biology at ITQB NOVA and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
