Shashikant Kharat

Shashikant Kharat is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Plant Head for the Mumbai Plant at CEAT Limited since June 2009, where responsibilities have included roles as Vice President for Global Outsourcing and Corporate Quality Assurance, along with Head of Quality Assurance. Prior to CEAT Limited, Shashikant held the position of Senior Manager at Asia MotorWorks Ltd from September 2007 to May 2009 and worked as Manager of Product Quality at Mahindra & Mahindra from June 1999 to August 2007. Shashikant holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Additional education includes a Diploma in Production Engineering from Agnel Technical College and ongoing studies at the Indian School of Business, Japanese Union for Scientists and Engineers, and Motorola University.
