Peter Hoelzl Schoemann

Peter Hoelzl Schoemann has a diverse work experience in the consumer electronics industry. Peter began their career at Media-Saturn Espana as a Project Manager from September 2006 to December 2008. Peter then moved on to Media-Saturn as a Manager in New Business Projects from January 2009 to February 2012. Peter then joined Media-Saturn BeteiligungsgmbH Österreich as a Product Manager of New Business, and worked there from February 2012 to January 2013. Peter further expanded their role at media-saturn e-commerce Austria, where they served as the Managing Director responsible for all e-commerce activities for Media Markt and Saturn in Austria from January 2013 to August 2014. Peter also worked as a freelancer for Gravity Thinking in 2014. Peter then joined EOG - Electronics Online Group as a Beteiligungsmanager from February 2015 to February 2017. Peter's career continued with Metro Group (AG), where they held the position of Head of Consumer Electronics from February 2017 to July 2018. Currently, they are Head of Portfolio Management at CECONOMY AG, where they started working in July 2018.

Peter Hoelzl Schoemann attended Wittelsbacher Gymnasium from 1987 to 1997, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program and obtained their Abitur. Peter then enrolled at Universität Passau from 1999 to 2006, earning a diplom kulturwirt degree in kulturwirtschaft. Additionally, in 2001 to 2002, they studied at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, focusing on High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates in estudios internacionales interamericanos.
