Alexandra Maddox

Alexandra Maddox is a seasoned biomechanical engineer with experience in both research and industry settings. Currently serving at CED Technologies, Inc. since July 2022, Maddox previously held a position as a postdoctoral researcher at the UMD Applied Research Lab for Intelligence & Security, where expertise was provided in the evaluation of voice analytic tools for U.S. personal vetting and insider risk. A graduate research assistant at the University of Cincinnati from August 2015 to April 2021, Maddox conducted advanced research in fluid mechanics, focusing on non-circular jet flow and its application to biomedical flow phenomena. Early experiences include work as a laryngeal biomechanics co-op and various roles at Boston Scientific, where contributions were made to the production and development of medical devices. Maddox holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
