Deborah Hartman

Deborah Hartman is an experienced educator with a robust background in special education. Currently serving as a full-time instructor in the Education Department at Cedar Crest College since September 2000, Deborah specializes in special education teacher preparation and teaches various graduate and undergraduate courses. With a significant history in public education, Deborah held the position of Executive Director of Special Education at Allentown School District for over two decades, overseeing a wide range of special education programs and services. In addition to current roles at Jumoke Academy Charter School as a special education teacher and previous positions as an educational therapist and ESL teacher, Deborah has earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and is a Board Certified Special Education teacher.
