Angela Flournoy

Angela Flournoy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Angela began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Texas State University in 2000 and later worked as a Substitute Teacher in the Comal Independent School District in 2003. Angela also served as a Director at the New Braunfels Theatre Company from 2003 to 2008.

In 2004, Angela joined Schlitterbahn Waterparks where they held multiple roles, including Marketing Assistant, Area Manager of Communications, and Corporate Manager of Communications and Events. Angela was responsible for managing digital media, planning and executing media and charitable events, and overseeing website and mobile app content.

From 2012 to 2015, Angela worked as the Managing Owner at Jim's Computer Service, and in 2015, they became an Independent Contractor specializing in web and event project management. Angela managed web content for various businesses and worked as an event planner and consultant for parties, weddings, and grand openings.

Angela then returned to Schlitterbahn Waterparks & Resorts in 2016 as a Web Content Manager and later transitioned to the role of Area Manager, Marketing for Schlitterbahn New Braunfels & Galveston. In this role, they managed marketing strategies and initiatives for the waterpark locations.

In 2021, Angela joined Cedar Fair Entertainment Company as a Digital Content Strategist, where they created and maintained web content for theme parks under the Cedar Fair brand.

Additionally, Angela has been involved in podcasting since 2007, co-hosting and producing the Anomaly Podcast.

Angela Flournoy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre/Theater from Texas State University, completing their studies from 1994 to 1999. Angela later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Literature, History, and Criticism from the same university, completing this program from 2000 to 2002.
