Joshua Wienczkowski, MD, MPH

Dr. Joshua Wienczkowski has diverse work experience in medical and academic settings. Joshua currently serves as the Medical Director at Cedar Recovery, starting in August 2022. Prior to this role, they founded End of Life Literacy in July 2016 and worked there until August 2022. Joshua gained experience as a Preventive Medicine Resident at Meharry Medical College from July 2020 to July 2022. Dr. Wienczkowski also worked as an Addiction Medicine Physician at High Point Clinic from January 2019 to July 2020, where they provided care to patients and contributed to medical education. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Milligan College from September 2019 to June 2020. Before that, they were a Medical School Blogger at Accepted.com from April 2013 to September 2019. Dr. Wienczkowski has further experience as a Resident Physician at East Tennessee State University from May 2017 to June 2018 and as a Scholar at the American Academy of Family Physicians from July 2016 to May 2017. Joshua also served as a Research Assistant at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine - Department of Surgery from August 2013 to December 2014 and at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Neuroblastoma Lab from October 2012 to June 2013.

Joshua Wienczkowski, MD, MPH completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Physiology, with a minor in Chemistry, at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2010 to 2013. Joshua then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine, graduating in 2017. Their education continued with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Meharry Medical College, which they completed from 2020 to 2022.
