Gregory B. Adamczak

Gregory B. Adamczak has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in the field of imaging. Gregory B. is currently employed at Cedars-Sinai as the Executive Director of Imaging, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to this position, they served as the Associate Director of Diagnostic Radiology & CT from April 2022 to April 2023.

From January 2016 to April 2022, Gregory held the role of Associate Director of Business Systems & Informatics at Cedars-Sinai. In this position, they had oversight of various departments including billing, inventory management, informatics, finance, administration, safety, training, and implementation programs. Gregory B. also led the procurement and delivery of imaging inventory.

Before their role in Business Systems & Informatics, Gregory was the Lead Administrative Program Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai, where they managed the imaging revenue cycle and ensured compliance with charge capture and coding rules and regulations. Gregory B. incorporated all changes in CPT codes to maintain the accuracy of the charge master and RIS system during their tenure from 2014 to 2016.

Gregory also has experience in supervisory roles, having served as the Supervisor of Imaging Reception, Billing & Human Interface at Cedars-Sinai from 2004 to 2014. In this position, they focused on promoting service excellence and creating a patient-centered experience, while optimizing workflow efficiency and utilizing technology advancements.

Additionally, Gregory has been involved in leadership roles outside of Cedars-Sinai. Gregory B. served as the Chair of the Imaging Governance Council from 2012 to 2013. Gregory B. also held the position of Secretary/Treasurer & Venipuncture Instructor at the California Society of Radiologic Technologists from 2001 to 2004.

Prior to their career in healthcare administration, Gregory worked as a Radiologic Technologist and MRI Technologist. Gregory B. began their career in healthcare as an Administrative Support staff member at Cedars-Sinai in 1995.

Gregory B. Adamczak, MSHA, BSRT, R.T.(R)(ARRT), CRA has a comprehensive education history. Gregory B. obtained their Associate's Degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Santa Monica College in 1999. In 2001, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology from California State University, Northridge. Gregory B. continued their education at the same university and completed their Master's of Science in Health Administration in 2009. In terms of certifications, Gregory became a Certified Radiologic Technologist (R)(F) from the California Department of Public Health in April 2001. Gregory B. also received their Radiologic Technologist certification (R)(ARRT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in the same month and year. In May 2015, they acquired the Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) credential from AHRA.
