Martin Hardegger

Martin Hardegger has extensive work experience in engineering and project management roles. Martin is currently working at CEDES as the Head of Engineering since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the CTO BA-HW from July 2020 to April 2023 and as a Senior Project Manager from August 2018 to July 2020 at the same company. Additionally, they have worked as a Dozent at ZbW - Zentrum für berufliche Weiterbildung since September 2021. Before that, they worked at Rockwell Automation Safety AG as a Manager R&D from July 2015 to July 2018, and at Rockwell Automation as a Manager R&D from January 2008 to July 2018. Martin also has experience at CEDES Safety & Automation, where they served as a Team Manager R&D from January 2008 to June 2015. Martin'searliest experience in the field dates back to 1995 when they started working at CEDES AG as an Entwicklungsingenieur, Projektleiter before becoming the Leiter Entwicklungsteam from January 1999 to December 2007.

Martin Hardegger completed their education in two stages. Firstly, from 1991 to 1994, they attended NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik Buchs SG, where they pursued a degree in Ingenieur FH with a focus on Elektronik, Mess und Regeltechnik. Later, from 2001 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Advanced Studies FHO in Software Engineering at HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil.
