Steven Rissi

Steven Rissi has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Their most recent position was as the Senior Director of Technical Education at CEDIA, where they oversaw the management of technical training initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Technical Training at CEDIA, responsible for the development and delivery of technical content and training instructors.

Before joining CEDIA, Steven worked at Sensory Technologies as the IT & Client Services Program Manager. In this role, they managed the company's technology and service program areas, including IT networking, videoconferencing, and client training services. Additionally, they served as the User Empowerment Facilitator at Sensory Technologies.

Earlier in their career, Steven worked as a Technical Project Manager at CEDIA, a Personal Banker at Wells Fargo, an Assistant Store Manager at Showcase Home Entertainment, a Magnolia Home Theater Department Supervisor at Best Buy, and a Lead Installation Technician at Dennis Sage Home Entertainment and Best Buy.

Throughout their various roles, Steven has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in technical training and customer service.

Steven Rissi obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arizona State University from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Integrated Systems Technician (IST) and Cabling and Infrastructure Technician (CIT) from CEDIA in October 2021 and January 2021 respectively. Steven also obtained the CEDIA Electronic Systems Certified (ESC) certification in January 2019, AMX ACE-II certification from AMX by HARMAN in March 2015, Certified Technology Specialist certification from InfoComm International in December 2014, Residential Networking Specialist certification from CEDIA in September 2012, and Network+ certification from CompTIA in July 2012. Furthermore, Steven obtained the CEDIA Electronic Systems Certified Technician (ESC-T) and Electronic Systems Certified Designer (ESC-D) certifications from CEDIA in May 2019. Steven also has additional certifications such as DMC-E from Crestron Electronics, HAA Level III from Home Acoustics Alliance, and ISF Level III from the Imaging Science Foundation, but the obtained month and year for these certifications are not provided.
