Trym Gudmundsen has over 20 years of work experience in finance and risk management. Trym began their career as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen in 1991 before moving on to Statoil, where they held roles as a Senior Internal Auditor and later as the Finance and Risk Manager for Crude Oil Trading. At Ernst & Young Advisory, Gudmundsen worked as a Senior Manager and later as a Partner Advisory Risk Services, leading internal audit and risk management assignments for clients in the Financial and Energy sectors. Trym then joined Competentia, where they served as the CFO of Competentia Group and later as the Managing Director for Competentia AS in Norway. In these roles, they were responsible for finance, accounting, reporting, business support, and establishing new offices globally. Currently, Gudmundsen is the CFO and head of Shared Services at Cegal. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience in financial reporting, risk management, and business development.
Trym Gudmundsen attended the following educational institutions and obtained the corresponding degrees:
- From 1992 to 1993, they attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and completed the Graduate Programme in Economics and Business Administration, with a focus on Accounting/Auditing.
- From 1990 to 1991, they studied at BI Norwegian Business School, where they completed the Registered Auditor Program (Bachelor Auditing), specializing in Accounting/Auditing.
- In 1989, they attended BI Norwegian Business School and obtained a degree in Finance and Business.
- From 1987 to 1988, they studied at BI Norwegian Business School and obtained a degree in Finance and Business.
