Koen Dejonghe

Koen Dejonghe is a seasoned Data & Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience across various companies, including Cegeka and VDAB. At Cegeka, Koen has been involved in designing and implementing real-time data pipelines and processing transactions using advanced technologies such as Kafka, Scala, and Spark. Previous roles include significant contributions to laboratory real-time streaming applications at Viollier AG and facilitating air traffic event selection at EUROCONTROL. With a foundation in database design and DevOps from Atos, Koen has also developed predictive algorithms for compatibility analysis in the job market. Koen holds a Graduaat Informatica degree from VHTI Kortrijk.
