David Badiola Polo

David Badiola Polo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. David began their career at IPSA in 2004 as an intern, where they received training in development tasks and collaborated on specific modules of the Atril product. David then worked as a Tester, responsible for test plans, documentation, and project installation and start-up.

From 2006 to 2008, David worked as a Developer at IPSA, focusing on core product specification development using languages such as Visual Basic, C++, and Java. David also gained knowledge of the Tomcat application server and worked on projects for Banco Santander in Mexico, Argentina, and Chile.

In 2008, David transitioned to the role of Software Analyst at IPSA, where they implemented agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. David conducted analysis, generated development-oriented documentation, and contributed to the specification development of IPSA's core product based on MVC.

In 2010, David became a Web Developer at IPSA, defining software architectures and analyzing solutions for document management processes. David also adopted an Agile development methodology with a focus on a Continuous Integration model.

David joined Cegid in 2015 and took on the role of DevOps Engineer & Scrum Master. David played a key role in creating the company's first DevOps group, implementing Jenkins, integrating automated tests, and managing integration lines using pipelines. David also deployed environments using technologies such as Foreman, Puppet, Nuget, Nexus, and Git. David's expertise contributed to the migration to Microsoft's Azure DevOps system.

In 2019, David advanced to the position of DevOps Lead & DevOps Coach & PO at Cegid. In addition to managing the Power User profile and resolving problems, they analyzed DevOps-related issues across different teams, facilitated communication with the operations department, and delivered presentations at various organizational levels.

Currently, in 2022, David serves as a DevOps Manager & Product Owner at Cegid Iberia & América Latina for HR. David leads the DevOps team in Spain, drives the adoption of the agile development model, and contributes to the company's transformation towards an agile culture. David is known for their agility and collaboration skills.

David Badiola Polo attended Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Informatics. David completed their studies and obtained a degree as Ingeniero Técnico Informática de Gestión.
