Alfonso Garces

Alfonso Garces is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management and technical development within the materials sector. Currently serving as the Global Business Director for Micromax Microcircuit and Component Materials at Celanese since November 2022, Garces previously held various significant roles at DuPont over a 30-year tenure, including Technical Development Director and Global Business Manager for multiple product lines such as Zytel® and Crastin®. Garces also contributed to Plastics Europe as a Sustainability Council Member since June 2020. Academically, Garces holds an Executive Program in Business Management and Administration from The Wharton School, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza, and an Executive Program in Marketing and Operations from INSEAD.
