Jordi Costa Sala

Jordi Costa Sala serves as the Principal Corporate Process Safety Leader at Celanese since November 2011, providing critical support in process safety engineering and management to enhance production and engineering operations. Jordi is a certified instructor in process safety and leads a mentoring program aimed at developing the skills of less experienced technical talent. Prior experience includes a seven-year tenure at Technip as an HSE Engineer, where involvement spanned various Oil & Gas projects across Spain, France, and the UAE, focusing on process safety and risk engineering. Jordi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in Labor Risk Prevention with specializations in Safety, Health, and Ergonomics.
