Sarah Niese is a seasoned chemist with extensive expertise in color development and pigment technology. Currently serving as a Senior Chemist and Color Technologist at Celanese since March 2021, Sarah focuses on color development for the engineered plastic materials portfolio. Prior experience includes a role as Research Chemist III at BASF, where responsibilities involved managing the OEM pigment portfolio and leading technical service investigations while mentoring laboratory technicians. Additional experience includes work as a Chemical Technician at Synectics Inc. and as an Environmental Chemical Analyst at The Water Spigot, Inc., where Sarah conducted field sampling and analysis of environmental waters and soils according to EPA standards. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Christopher Newport University.
