Arumugam A Amirthalingam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network finance, analytics, and operational management within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Head of Network Finance and Property Management at Celcom Axiata Berhad since February 2021, Arumugam previously held the position of Head of Network Analytics at Axiata, where responsibilities included leading analytics teams, developing strategic frameworks, and conducting business development activities across multiple countries. Prior to Axiata, Arumugam spent nearly two decades at Maxis, managing base marketing initiatives and various operational roles that focused on budget control, strategy formulation, and performance management. Earlier career roles included auditing at Sime Darby and accounting positions at Chancellers LLP and Shah Gillani & Co. Arumugam is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and holds a Foundation in Accounting from Nottingham Trent University.
