Richard Rastall

Richard Rastall has over 26 years of experience in IT and computer operations. Richard'smost recent role was as a Senior Windows and VMWare Support Engineer at D4t4 Solutions Plc, where they started in 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Celebrus Technologies as an IT Operations Manager and Senior Operations Consultant from 2013 to 2015. From 2011 to 2013, Richard worked as a Computer Operations Consultant at Celebrus Technologies (previously known as Speed-trap.com). Richard also has experience as a Computer Operations Consultant at Speed-trap.com from 2007 to 2011. Richard co-founded and managed R-Net Internet, a sister company to R&R Computer, Video & Audio CC, from 2003 to 2007. Richard was also the Manager and Owner of R&R Computer, Video & Audio CC from 1995 to 2007, where they managed IT systems improvement projects and provided consulting services. Richard briefly served as a Support Team Manager at Xenex Computer Systems in 1998. Richard started their career at Telkom, where they worked as a Data Technician, Junior Manager, and Apprentice from 1989 to 1998.

Richard Rastall's education history begins in 1984 when they attended Bedford View High, where they obtained their Matric degree in Technical studies. After that, from 1989 to 1991, Richard attended Germiston Technical College, where they studied Light Electrical and earned their N6 diploma. In 2013, they pursued the ITIL v3 Foundation certification at The Knowledge Academy. In 2015, Richard enrolled in the Tenable eLearning Portal to study TENABLE Network Security and obtained the Tenable Certified Nessus Auditor (TCNA) degree in 2016. Additionally, Richard obtained certifications in ITIL v3 Foundation from The Knowledge Academy in September 2013 and TCNA from Tenable Network Security in January 2016.
