Sarah H. has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. Sarah began their career as an Assistant Team Leader and Editor at The Oregonian/OregonLive.com, where they managed a suburban news bureau and worked on major news stories. Sarah then transitioned into the accounting field, starting as an Accounting Manager at Patrick Lumber Co., where they managed daily cash positions and prepared financial statements.

Sarah then worked as a Banking Compliance/Reporting Accountant at Erickson Air-Crane, Inc., managing cash flows and developing cash forecasting tools. Sarah further honed their accounting skills as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Alpha Media USA, where they prepared cash flow forecasts and reconciliations.

At Providence Health & Services, Sarah served in various roles, including Accountant, where they implemented financial policies and prepared cash forecasts, Senior Accountant, where they managed banking and treasury functions, and Budget Manager, where they oversaw budget cycles and strategic planning initiatives.

Continuing their accounting career, Sarah joined Stumptown Coffee Roasters as an Accounting Operations Manager, leading AP/AR operations and improving the AP close timeline. Sarah then moved on to OCHIN, Inc., where they held multiple positions, including Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager, and Manager of Financial Reporting and Tax Accounting. In these roles, Sarah managed various financial functions, including GL analysis, banking partnerships, and annual audits.

At Scripps Research, Sarah served as an Accounting Manager, overseeing technical accounting memo preparation and coordinating retirement benefit plan audits. Sarah then joined AffiniPay as an Accounting Manager, where they led GL and AP teams through a post-merger environment and assisted in the transition to a new ERP system.

Most recently, Sarah worked as an Accounting Manager at Celero Commerce, where they utilized their accounting expertise to manage financial operations.

Sarah H. attended the University of Oregon, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with Summa Cum Laude honors. Later, they pursued further education at Linfield University, obtaining a Post-baccalaureate certificate in Accounting.
