Yash Nishant

Yash Nishant has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and software development. Yash is currently working as a Machine Learning Developer at Celestial AI since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Machine Learning Engineering Fellow at Springboard from August 2020 to July 2021. Yash also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Data Science and Big Data at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy from September 2020 to December 2020. Additionally, they gained experience as a Student Consultant at PPG Industries during the same period. Yash's earlier experience includes working as a Software Developer and an Associate Software Developer at Empower Retirement from June 2017 to May 2019, where they developed PL/SQL packages and procedures to extract, analyze, and automate data processing.

Yash Nishant completed their bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at B. M. S. College of Engineering from 2013 to 2017. In 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems and Management, specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University. Alongside their formal education, Yash also obtained various certifications, including courses on Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Yash also obtained certifications in Relational Database Design and SQL Programming from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension. Additionally, Yash has been certified by Aspiring Minds in various domains such as Business Analyst, Data Processing Specialist, and Engineering Trainee - Telecom Engineering.
