John Pinion II

John Pinion II is an experienced executive in the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Translational Sciences and Chief Quality Operations Officer at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since July 2015. John has held leadership roles across multiple companies, including Aroa Biosurgery and Roche, where responsibilities encompassed global quality and compliance for extensive operations. John’s career began at Baxter International Inc., where significant contributions were made across various quality and operational positions. John is also actively involved in advisory roles for Celestial Therapeutics and on the Board of Directors for Aroa, leveraging expertise in drug development and regulatory compliance. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
